I don't know a lot about Junior's upbringing and care. His original owner and breeder could not be found. I do believe they were questionable as he showed signs of abuse when I got him. He was in a lot of about 30 other horses for sale. He was not the pick of the litter and has conformation flaws, especially with his rear pasturns. When I looked in his eyes, it was as if we made a connection and he had picked me too. Junior had a great trainer and with lots of work and love, I can now wave my hands around his head and he does not spook or roll his eyes in fear. In fact he has one of the mildest manners I have seen in a stallion and is eager to please. I took a chance on him and have two wonderful foals...see his daughter "Snipper" and son "Tequila". Jr will not be bred again and I am considering having him gelded to use as another of my trail horses.
