Halfpint after we brought him home!.

I need to stay off of Craigslist! Every now and then you run across an add that is too hard to resist. Halfpint was a rescue that needed a permanent home and I took the bait. I'm not sorry though. This little guy will win your heart in a heartbeat! He follows you like a puppy dog and gives the sweetest kisses. I think he trusts humans more then anything else. Don't leave him unwatched though! Just like a puppy he will sniff and eat anything reachable if you turn your head (my cigarette case, gloves....). He was advertised as Shetland, but I think he is a mix, I've never seen a Shetland with the high stepping trott this boy has. Maybe some Hackney?

May 8, 2009 - I bought this cute little saddle set on eBay and had to try it on. The bridle needs adjusting and a new bit. It looks great on him though! I have driving reins on in preperation for additional training. Halfpint was a good boy and didn't buck or anything. It won't be too much longer and he'll be ready to start giving the neighbor kids rides.
