I had never seen a Gypsy in a real life, however my keyboard is severely damaged from drooling over Gypsy horses on the internet for 3 years. I made up my mind that one day, I would own one. That day arrived in February 09 when I found "Lil Man". The moment I brought him home, my husband took one look and said, "I don't care what his name was, we are calling him Hairy".

It stopped raining and warmed up long enough for me to give Hairy his first bath since we got him....such a good boy.

I tried to take more pasture shots, but Hairy followed me everywhere I went. This turned into a short game he enjoyed.

Hairy at 18 months old. So today was his day for a bath, training and a little love. His face is starting to mature and he has a gentle eye. But don't let that fool you, he has a mischievous nature and loves to chew on anything...my boots, gloves, whip, rope and will even try to tug them away from you as if it were a game. My faithful pal Mia does her part by training from the outside of the round pen.

12-05-09, It's past time to update pictures of my handsome Hairy. We did a bit of grooming, but no bath since it was so cold, then round pen work and a walk. He's 20 month's here.

04-20-10, Hairy has turned 2 and is maturing beautifully.
